I ordered the new latch and spring (didn't end up needing the spring). Unscrewed the two screws on top of microwave and slid out the top sliver cover. Door lifts out. The first cover around the door just needs to be pried off, just like the back of a phone case. Unscrew the two screws on the metal piece where the latch goes. Pry up and hold in place while you hook the spring and slide the new latch into its holes. Lower and reassemble. Took ten minutes.
