Removed the knob for the affected burner and screws underneath. Opened the top panel, removed the fluorescent bulb, removed the two screws, and took the top front panel off - it's still attached to wires, so it doesn't go too far. Be careful also that you don't damage the connection between the lights and the red plastic pieces on the front. Infinity switch was dangling since the screws to the front plate were removed. One wire at a time, I switched the wire from the old switch to the corresponding position on the new switch using needlenose pliers. Then I put the cover out of the way and tested it before putting it all back together.
