As soon as the dishwasher stopped working correctly I knew AppliancePartsPROS.com would be there. A little backstory, my wife has been running a Home Childcare center for almost 20 years now, so when I say I've worked on a dishwasher or two in my life you can take that to the bank. The dishwasher, Washer machine never stop running in our house. She does probably 3-4 loads of dishes a day, 3-5 loads of laundry a day. Ever since I've found AppliancePros they have been my GoTo website for repairs. Anyways enough about me.
The dishwasher would not drain, it would tumble and the pump was turningjust not pushingany water out the hose. Order a new pump and a door seal gasket our was swellingup on the ends and I gave cut to many times to do it again. The new pump is a different style which has a different plug, they did send an adapter wire so all good. New pump does not need a counter weight, so no need to save the aluminum block from the old one. Word of advice try to remove all the water first you can pull off the drain hose slowly and let it run into a baking sheet pan that will fit under the dishwasher. I would also suggest finding a narrower screw clamp for the hose that goes onto the sump housing. The ones they send will work, but a narrower one works better. Whole job, including cleaning out water, replacing part, and reinstalling about 40 minutes for this old timer.
Best of luck, and Thank you AppliancePartsPROs.com
