We noticed that our dryer was louder than usual and not drying as well. Then over the weekend it smelled like it was burning. Turns out both felt seals had unglued and was letting heat and lint to escape outside of the drum and lint was building up around the gas burner. I cleaned out all the burnt my lint, followed the instructions video and now it is running like new again. The video tip with using clothes pins to hold felt seal in place while glue worked great. I couldn't be happier with the fix. Scariest part is that it could of been a lot worse. If anyone as these same symptoms, please stop using your dryer and take a look at the drum seals and see if excess lint is building up around the heating element!
