I removed the kick panel/door and confirmed there was no flame. Inspection with a flashlight revealed the igniter was damage - partly broken away. Using a 1/4" socket set I removed the burner assembly. Inspection showed the burner was rusted and the flame deflector had fallen off. I ordered both the "Dryer Igniter and Bracket" and a burner. They arrived in about three days. I had to attach the igniter to the bracket (one screw) and then the bracket to the burner (one screw). The only difficult part was reaching in under the tub and getting the holes aligned so the two screws that hold the burner in place could be installed (these are sheet metal screws so it is a good idea to pre-thread these in the bracket before trying to install it). It is a little tight for space but workable. Once the assembly was attached I connect the igniter power plug. I then started the dryer to confirm success and reinstalled the kick door.
