Robert G Frederick , MD December 26, 2015 Appliance: Model LNC7757A71 Dryer would not start The thermostat kit includes the thermal fuse which was the bad part. Replaced both the fuse and the included high-limit thermostat. The parts I ordered fixed the problem, and it was very easy to do. As recommended, I also vacuumed out the vent tubes since vent blockage was cited as a possible cause for the fuse to blow. The only fly in the ointment was that the AppliancePartsPros.com confirmation email said the parts were for a Whirlpool Dryer, which caused a little consternation for me since I had searched for and ordered parts for an Admiral dryer. Turns out it was not a problem since Whirlpool makes replacement parts for many brands. Although it was a slightly different design.even the Whirlpool light bulb fit, Bottom line: Dryers are incredibly easy for amateurs to repair, so watch the videos and then go for it!
