As a novice, I originally thought it was a fuse after checking to ensure it wasn't the circuit breaker. I ordered ($38) a Thermal Fuse and Moister Sensor Bars, using the associated videos on installing the parts (Very Helpful) - The key is having the right tools. Although this repair did not solve the problem, the next step was to order ($78) and install a heater element and thermistor. Again the installing videos were very useful and at this point I became very comfortable with working on this unit in replacing these parts which was very successful. My total parts cost was $116 and my dryer works great. Also had the opportunity to clean out the excess lint inside the unit that had accumulated over the years. It was very satisficing to be able to do it myself. As a side note, a local repair service wanted $ 139.00 just for the call and parts were extra.
