Tested continuity on thermal fuse, high limit thermostat and coils. No continuity on thermostat and thought that was the problem. Replaced it--still no continuity. Tested A and C terminals on timer--bingo! No continuity there. Bought new timer and dryer works great. It got a good cleaning to boot.
