Unplugged the dryer. Removed 3 screws from the back of the control panel on the dryer to allow access to the timer switch. Removed the timer switch and disconnected the wires. Connected the wires to the new switch and reinstalled the switch, tightened the 3 screws to secure the back of the dryer then attached the new knob to the timer switch.
