Ordered part then took back of dryer off. Removed old timer with all the wires still attached. Put new timer in then reconnected all the wires one by one. Extremely easy to do. The only thing was when I went to replace the knob it didn’t fit, to loose. Realized there was a small rubber tip on the old part which made knob handle thicker. Remove it from old knob and replaced on new one. Worked like a charm. Only needed a screw driver and needle nose pliers.
