I ordered a new timer. It was pretty easy to replace. I removed the screws from the upper back panel. Pulled the knob off, the timer is removed by turning it counterclockwise. All the wire terminals were labeled. Took a picture with my phone just in case. I remove the wires one at a time and connected them to the new part. Reinstalled timer and pushed the knob back on. Tested it and the problem was fixed :)
I put a long time as I had move stuff to get the dryer out where I could work on it.
