I found the assembly with heater element, thermostat, and the thermal fuse already assembled (cheaper than finding what part was bad and ordering that one part).
unplugged dryer, pulled it out and removed the dryer exhaust tube, the top and front. The harness was a little short so I wasnt able to pull the whole heater assembly out before disconnecting. BEFORE disconnecting I took a picture so that if my brain forgot what wires went were!!!!
put the dryer back together and put a load that just finished in the washer in and DRIED it!!!!!
Roughly took me 20 minutes, that included vacuuming out the inside
