The dishwasher is relatively new, so it was pretty depressing for it to throw the E24 code. I watched a few YouTube videos for troubleshooting tips (check hoses, check for blockages in the screens, impeller, etc) and nothing solved the problem. I removed the drain pump and found hair wrapped around the axle beneath the impeller. I live in a household where most problems come down to hair wrapped around something or clogging other things, so I ordered a new pump and it installed easily. Fixed the problem, saved a bunch of money. Wife and kids think I'm a hero.
