How to replace Control Panel. Replaced control panel. This is the second replacement due to the same problem with this Maytag dishwasher. The exact cause of the failure is not obvious, but replacing the $130 panel is a quick and easy fix rather than tracking down all the electrical failures in the cable and attempting a permanent fix. The dishwasher performs well otherwise and I believe it has a lot of life left in it. I may well end up replacing the panel again before buying a new unit.
