Diagnosis was a faulty control panel so I ordered one from Appliance Parts and it came about a week later. The repair was quoted to take anywhere from 15 mins to about an hour. Since I had never done this before it took me a little longer as I had to figure what to do and how to go about it. All in all it was not too bad and the estimate of about an hour was closer to the truth though I actually took a little longer due to interruptions. The oven works perfectly - loud beep is gone! Should share that the two inner control knobs for the stovetop should be removed to make it easier for the central circuit board to be removed and the new one installed - otherwise there are too many wires in the way.
