Whirlpool WP74005747 Control Panel OEM Part

Diagnosis was a faulty control panel so I ordered one from Appliance Parts and it came about a week later. The repair was quoted to take anywhere from 15 mins to about an hour. Since I had never done this before it took me a little longer as I had to figure what to do and how to go about it. All in all it was not too bad and the estimate of about an hour was closer to the truth though I actually took a little longer due to interruptions. The oven works perfectly - loud beep is gone! Should share that the two inner control knobs for the stovetop should be removed to make it easier for the central circuit board to be removed and the new one installed - otherwise there are too many wires in the way. I called Jenn Air and asked what the F1-7 error code indicated, and I was told "Keyboard Loop". The appliance parts pros website had the control panel assembly in stock, I received it Tuesday, installed it Wednesday, and it works beautifully. No more error code, I can set the clock, and no more insane beeping. The installation procedure had a lot of steps, the control board had to be loosened, all four range top controls had to be removed, four indicator lights, and the mounting bracket. The whole procedure took over an hour, but the results were very gratifying.

Installed new part

After repairing a GE stainless steel refrigerator and a Fisher-PAYKEL double drawer dishwasher in the last 6 months I went to the Appliance Part Pro website again to solve my problem with my Jenn-Air model #JES9860AAS. I read all posts applicable to my Jenn-Air model stove which experienced the same problem of a F1-7 error code flashing on the stove control panel. I ordered the same part (# WP74005747) that other customers ordered to fix their Jenn-Air stoves. It only took a few days to receive the control panel from Appliance Part Pros. The repair was simple and only took approximately 30 minutes. My stove burners were still operational during the incessive beeping and flashing of the F1-7 code on the control panel which caused all features on the touchpad control panel to be inoperative. Once the control panel was replaced the stove worked perfectly.

Control panel needed to be replaced. I originally ordered the wrong one. Got on your site's chat and your tech (I think it was Brent) was super helpful. He looked up my model # and got the correct part out right away. Received it in 2 days. After a couple missteps, it took about 1 hour to replace. We forgot to replace the lower flange, so we had to take it apart again. Bottom line, I was very pleased with the product and customer service I received. Thank you.
