Thought there was an issue with the lock so I replaced that and the issue was still there. So I'm sending the replacement lock back. After reading more about the issue and error codes I decided to go for changing out the electronic control board. I pulled the board out from the bottom of the washer and found a capacitor blown on the unit. Changed out the electronic control board and the washer was back to normal. We also had a huge 3-4 inch gash develop in the bellow that water would pour out of (only sometimes) so I replaced it as well. The control board was a super easy swap with just unplugging multi-connectors and simply swapping the unit out. This could be done with only removing the bottom panel of the washer. The bellow change required taking off the top panel and the entire front of the washer but was a fairly easy process. Maybe 7 - 8 screws total for the top and front to come off. The bottom panel is 3 screws on my unit. Very happy to get it going again!
