Lori C Eckerty , IN December 25, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG 5000 SERIES DRYER F01 error = fried electronic control board on my 5000 series maytag dryer Ordered replacement control board and switched them out. I should add I am a 44 yo woman. Was easy to do. Unplug. Remove 2 screws from the back to take the top off. Photo the old control board to document connections. Unhook old one, remove from bracket.
