I had this error code pop up like others here. Replaced Motor Control Board and everything works like new! Thanks!!
My washer is the Whirlpool WFW95HEXL2. The videos show taking off a front bottom panel to get to the motor control board. I took off the entire front panel, as mine did not have the lower access panel as the older models did. However, I could not access the connectors to get the MCB out.
So, to get the MCB out of a unit with a one piece front panel, you actually have to go through the rear of the machine. Just take off all the screws and the back panel comes off. The MCB will be on the left side. Push down on the right front foot tab and slide the MCB forward to pop it out of the track. Take out the connectors (take a picture before doing this so you can put the connectors back in the right spot) and pop in the new MCB. Enjoy your washer again!
