Easy-peasy fix! Just turned off the water supply, power supply, removed hose clamps and rubber anchors. Replaced the new unit back in that order and ta-dah!
Only issue was water in the machine - I bailed as much as I could, tilted the machine back on its corners and put a shallow bin under the pump when I removed the broken one.
