Replaced the gasket and VIOLA no more ice building.
The gasket was a bit of a pain to replace. To ensure the gasket was properly installed required removal of the inside door panel and fit the gasket in place. There were a gazillion screws to remove, put the gasket in place, reinstall the panel and the screws.
I needed an extra set of hands to complete the gasket replacement.
