My freezer was stuck at around 11 degrees and my fridge was in the high 40s. The fridge was also ominously quiet. I checked the fan motor circuit on the main board as per this video https://youtu.be/PhQKqF5MgDE. Found out the board was good, and the fan was getting power. Removed the fan motor and tested it by applying power directly, the motor was dead. Replaced the fan motor and everything works perfectly. There are cheaper fans out there but I wanted the OEM part, not some cheap knockoff. Lots of parts to remove in the freezer section for the repair. But no wiring to worry about, just plug in the connectors.
