We took the burner apart piece by piece, and documented how it was put together. We ordered the new part and replaced the burner. It was an easy fix, my daughter and I did it together.
When we ordered the part on the internet your employee was very knowledgeable also, very helpful. He was terrific.
The stove is a 1969 GE double oven and I have no intention of replacing it any time soon. They don't make products like that anymore. I am an avid cook and have raised a family and I still make 2 to 3 meals a day. I love my stove!!!
