With the help of Wendee and Karen, we finally figured out my model numbers and which parts where correct. I ordered the parts and all arrived the next day except for the Broiler element which arrived in 2 days. I installed the new Baking Element myself. Took longer to figure out which curcuit braker to turn off. In about 30 minutes I had a brand new Baking Element in my oven working perfectly. On the following day, I installed the Broiler Element. That took a bit longer as it sits in a metal sleeve and then needs to slide into place with the end pieces lining up with two holes so the ends enter there. First I installed it by itself and turned the curcuit brakers back on to make sure it would work. Once I confirmed it worked I had to install it with the metal sleeve and that took a little bit of time, but with a little patience it finally lined up. Then on Saturday, my husband and I installed all four burners on the stove-top. Two six inchers and two eight inchers. It was a two man job as we used the new ceramic blocks which my husband held in place after securing each wire to the new burners and clips needed to be slid on it as my husband was holding it. I now have a brand new oven and stove-top. My house was built in 1958 so most likely my model is a 1957 GE J502P1 for the oven and the stove top is a J5521N1 which has push buttons on the wall to operate it. The customer service I received was amazing. Top Notch. I might actually continue to fix up my kitchen keeping all the original appliances as they have so much charm and work beautifully now. My kitchen is avocado green but the appliances themselves are a beautiful stainless steel. I cannot say enough about the Customer Service at appliancepartspros.com. They were so helpful and always available by phone or email. I did watch the videos posted about installing the baking element. Unfortunately there is no video on how to install the burners or the broiler element, but if you systematically take the old ones apart, you can retrace your steps and reattach the new burners. The broiler was not hard, but lining it up was a little tricky. Take your time and you should have no problems. There were some videos on youtube for the burners but none were as old as mine which has four ends sticking out of it instead of two. The two armed burners just pull out and slide in. The four armed ones need to have the ceramic block in place. Good luck with your appliances!! Happy Cooking/Baking!

Turned off the breaker that provided power to the range top, removed the old surface elements, cleaned up the range top completely and installed the new elements. Took three hours to clean up the range top, forty five minutes to install the four elements. Clean up was the hardest part of the project.

Was able to order the correct part for a 40+ year old GE electric range from you folks which was great. The part arrived quickly and I was able to install it without much difficulty.

I replaced all of the burners in the 1955 GE cooktop. You replacement parts fit perfectly!

We took the burner apart piece by piece, and documented how it was put together. We ordered the new part and replaced the burner. It was an easy fix, my daughter and I did it together. When we ordered the part on the internet your employee was very knowledgeable also, very helpful. He was terrific. The stove is a 1969 GE double oven and I have no intention of replacing it any time soon. They don't make products like that anymore. I am an avid cook and have raised a family and I still make 2 to 3 meals a day. I love my stove!!!
