My Maytag upright freezer (MQF1656TEW02) kept on gathering frost and would end up keeping food warm, which sorta defeats the purpose of a freezer right? It was only two years old and it was out of warranty... I had read where the defrost timer are common to got out on these babies.
Sure enough, ordered one from here, replaced it and it's working like a champ!
