1. Removed new gasket from packaging
2. Where the new gasket was twisted to fold over & fit in the packaging the gasket was somewhat deformed. As per the enclosed instructions I had to use a hairdryer to soften the gasket so it laid out properly.
3. On the inside of the fridge door, lifted up the old gasket lip and loosened all the hex screws that hold the plastic gasket flange about 3 turns or so and pulled out the old gasket. Carefully notice how the old gasket is placed around this flange when removing it. The new one will go on the same way.
4. Starting with the upper left corner, installed the new gasket on the gasket flange. This is where the flat blade screwdriver was handy to gently pry the flange back from the door so part of the new gasket can be slipped behind it. After getting the new gasket on the flange I went outside edge several times to make sure the gasket was firmly positioned
5. After making sure the gasket was properly positioned, tightened all the hex screws.
6. Shut the door and checked the seal area. Noticed a couple of spots where the gasket has a small gap so hit those areas with the hair dryer to the point it softened the gasket material and these spots sealed up.
