Victoria M Falmouth , ME February 01, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Washer WCVH6800J1WW Ge Washer Wcvh6800j1ww: Our ge front loader washing machine was leaking water from the left side of the washing machine. How to replace Dispenser To Tub Tube. We diagnosed our washing machine by taking off the bottom front panel of the washing machine and discovered that water & detergent was pouring out of the upper left detergent dispenser area. On closer inspection we could see that the water inlet pipe was cracked which was allowing water & detergent to leak into the interior of the washing machine and onto the floor. Your rep helped me find the correct part as all I knew was how it looked ( I explained that it looked like a white plastic "peace pipe"! LOL!) I gave her our washing machine model number and together we decided that the "water inlet pipe" was the correct replacement part. I ordered the part and it came within two days! We replaced the cracked water inlet pipe and instantly -- there was no more water leak! The new water inlet pipe attached at the detergent dispenser with a black O ring and fits into the boot of the tub. Very simple repair. Most of the time spent on the repair was taking the washing machine apart and putting it back together. Our washing machine is now as good as new! The estimate to have a repairman fix our machine was $250 -- we fixed our washing machine ourselves for the cost of the replacement part plus shipping -- about $19! A big thank you to your rep who helped me find the right replacement part! You all get 5 stars for terrific customer service, great replacement parts and super fast shipping! :) 13 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
