Patricia W Grand Rapids , MN April 12, 2015 The handle to my microwave disintegrated I called an appliance repair man to see if he would come and install the new handle but he said I would have to bring either the microwave or the door to him. With the microwave above the stove that wasn't going to happen so I fixed it myself and I am 75. The handle was a lot cheaper than buying a new microwave and getting someone to install it. I did have to use the old screws and new screws would have helped since I dropped one and it went under the stove. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
