After ordering the part, I first watched the video several times. Then I placed my phone on my workspace so that I could start and stop the video when following the step-by-step instructions. Then I shut down the refrigerator circuit breaker while I removed the ice container and full ice maker components. I then closed the refrigerator doors to keep the cold air in. I kept starting and stopping the video as I went, as I unplugged wiring components, connection jumpers, the ice maker shutoff arm and extension, and separated the ice maker part from the overall full ice maker electrical components. Then I installed the new ice maker assembly, reconnected wiring and jumpers, and re-attached the new ice maker part to the full electrical components. Once I double checked everything, I carefully (and a little forcefully) pushed the unit back into place part way. I reconnected the final electrical jumper and then pushed it back until I heard the click. Then it was reattaching the cover that protects the wiring on the left side of the refrigerator fresh food section. Once I insured the shutoff arm was in the correct down position, I put back in the collection bin and turned back on the circuit breaker. I immediately heard water flow into the water container which was great to hear, but I knew the ice maker would need to reach the proper temperature before ice production would resume. I admittedly was nervous if this was the solution as I was thinking what would my next steps be if this part did not resolve the problem. You can imagine my delight when I woke up in the morning and the collection bin was filled with ice.
