Hardest part of this repair was removing the auger assembly. You have to pry the sides of the white plastic ice tub so that 2 tapered tabs are freed so you can remove the auger assembly. I used two thin putty knives to get between the sides of the white plastic tub and the tapered locking tabs. Once I did this, the assembly was able to be lifted out.
