I received my new part in about 3-4 days. Part was exact match for my existing motor. After watching the installation video on this website I was able to garner the rudimentary directions to replace the motor. The video did not match the exact fridge I had. My fridge did not have the access panel on the interior of the freezer. I had to remove the two screws at the water ice dispenser tray on the outside and slide that unit off the front. Before removing the motor, open the freezer and remove the side bucket. Unscrew the two screws holing the ice dispenser drive gear and remove it carefully as there is a spring under it. Remove the spring and pull the dispenser drive shaft out. Once that was done I lifted up the cardboard cover to access the motor. The motor is in a plastic bracket that must be removed. The screws that secure the motor are not accessibly without removing this bracket. 4 screw hold the bracket in. Once they are removed you can unplug the motor unit and slide it out. Be careful to pull the wiring that is secured under the bracket in two clips out away from the bracket so it can be removed. Once removed, unscrew the 4 screws holding the motor to the bracket and remove the motor. I did a continuity check at this point just to be sure the motor was the problem. I installed the new motor in the bracket. After it is installed reinsert the drive shaft and reverse the procedure to reinstall the unit. Ice maker is working like new and probably saved $200.00 in labor charges. The process is much easier than my description and can be accomplished in about 30 minutes.
