I started by replacing the water filter assembly since it was leaking after I attempted to install a non-name-brand filter. The new assembly didn't fix the problem (but was hard to find, and AppliancePartsPros was amazing in being able to get one). Further, while replacing that I noticed that the previous owner had literally cut out the grounding pin from the power cord. I decided to replace the power cord and the Ice Maker Assembly. None of the online stores seemed to have either part listed (they described only the refrigerator ice maker), so I called in. AppliancePartsPros spent probably 15 minutes on the phone going over details and meticulously looking--and both parts were exactly what I needed. With everything in hand, the actual repair took only about 10 minutes.
