I managed to get a tech sheet for my Maytag fridge to assist with troubleshooting and field stripped the entire ice maker assembly since no ice could mean a handful of issues from the ice maker as well as other parts with the fridge if the ice maker was OK. So I determine the culprit and I had the option to actually purchase the module itself from APP since they had practically the entire parts manual list in-stock for my for my model and are the only website and/or company to offer such variety of parts let alone just the ice maker I ordered. Economically it was cheaper to just purchase the whole ice maker than just the module but as I mentioned, at least the option was there if I really wanted to just get the module. Due to the complexity of the ice making process for my fridge the troubleshooting took much longer than the repair. No joke, the tech sheet listed about 10 possible troubles from parts failures to equal no ice but once it was narrowed down the repair literally took about 10 minutes of just casual effort, The real payoff was the next day when my ice bin was completely full again after running a handful of cycles to top off the bin.With summer approaching... Very pleased!
