Anthony J Crete , NE December 19, 2014 Ice maker started to make a knocking sound and would no longer make any ice Ordered a new ice maker and received it in two days. Repair is easy and only requires a phillips screwdriver. Remove the two front screws to the ice maker housing, pull the whole unit out and install new ice maker into housing, reconnect the power cord and reinstall the housing unit. Took me five minures. Just make sure you dont cover up the water outlet hose. 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
