I first removed the ice maker and looked at the control module for obvious issues but found nothing that looked like a problem. Getting the wire harness connector to separate was tough.
I ordered a new ice maker and also a water valve.
I replaced the ice maker. Still no ice. I then replaced the water valve. No luck. After reading more information on Appliance Parts Pros I decided that the issue was with the ice level power control board kit.
I ordered the board kit and when it arrived I replace both circuit boards. It is easy to get the connector plugged in wrong by being one pin off to either side. Not much slack on the wires made this more difficult than it should be.
This fixed the problem. It started working in a short time and we now have ice.
I now have an extra ice maker and an extra water valve. This is still better than buying a new refrigerator.
