Mary K Chesapeake Beach , MD August 06, 2018 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KSF26C4XYY02 Kitchenaid Refrigerator Ksf26c4xyy02 / : Ice maker stopped working. How to replace Ice Level Control Board. Bought new optic control boards, both the emitter and the receiver. The repair process was so simple. The KitchenAid repair tech came out to diagnose our issue. He was only going to come back and install a new emitter. They wanted a lot of money to do the repair. They were going to charge us $257 just for the part (emitter board). We bought both boards for $300 from AppliancePartsPros. We decided to replace both boards, because if one went bad the other might not be far behind. 16 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
