The repair process was so simple. The KitchenAid repair tech came out to diagnose our issue. He was only going to come back and install a new emitter. They wanted a lot of money to do the repair. They were going to charge us $257 just for the part (emitter board). We bought both boards for $300 from AppliancePartsPros. We decided to replace both boards, because if one went bad the other might not be far behind. Julio O Macclenny , FL March 30, 2022 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator WSF26C3EXY01 The customer complained that the ice maker was not making ice. Noticed that the ice level LED was off then removed the ice maker and checked voltage into the ice maker module (L n' V) and didn't get power. Checked continuity on the black wire (fuse) and found it ok. Checked the parts at AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered them. Came back once got the parts. Installed the new parts then noticed that the ice maker started cycling.
