After making sure the problem was NOT a frozen line (refrigerator had been turned off for two days)….We found the icemaker part number and ordered it online from AppliancePartsPros.com. It arrived in a timely manner. Then we tried to find an instruction manual thru the internet but failed. Luckily we found a YouTube video, rather hokey (the husband was having the same problems that my husband was (because you can’t easily reach nor see the far backside of the freezer compartment because the bottom drawer cannot be removed!!!!!)) but the video was good enough to assure us that it COULD be done. Replacing took about 30 minutes, and the new icemaker started working immediately. Awesome, because I’d been living without an icemaker for two years, so I am truly jazzed. Merry Christmas to me!
