Bought frig used and found a sensor was hanging down near the ice tray. Previous owners said they just stopped using it. Did some research and found there was a foam block and small plastic cover that holds the sensor under the cube tray. They don’t list these parts on the schematics for my frig but found the part numbers for other Samsung models. There’s also a video on replacing these parts on the site. Bought those parts for around $20 and installed. Ice maker filled with water and froze but the ice wouldn’t fall out, it was sticking to the tray. Bought a new tray for $10 and now it’s working perfectly. Also read after I purchased the new tray that the reason ice sticks is due to mineral deposits that build up on the tray. Read on the internet you can try cleaning the mineral deposits using white vinegar and then liquid dish soap, no harsh abrasives. Might be worth a shot before replacing the tray. Also added a universal inline filter in the water line for $15 from local building supply store since my frig did not have a built in filter.
