Scott S Culver Drive , CA June 27, 2014 Icemake stopped making ice We had a sears tech come out and "inspect" our freezer - he said it was one of the 2 vales behind the fridge that needed to be replaced. I found them for 50 bucks each on amazon... but then I thought I might shop around. Then i found this kit - that has the 2 valves AND the icemaker assembly for basically the same price. I went ahead and swapped out the icemaker assembly since it didn't involve getting behind the fridge. the next morning - BOOM ice. lots of ice. amazed. and happy. 17 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
