My icemaker had failed so I ordered the icemaker assembly. The problem turned out to be the water valve but replacing the icemaker wasn't a waste as the old one was starting to corrode.
I bought from AppliancePartsPros as their videos were very informative.
Note that the "icemaker assembly" includes the "icemaker cycling thermostat" as well as other pieces, so if you get the assembly there's no need to get the thermostat.
