Ann M Walled Lake , MI February 10, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Refrigerator MFI2569VEM2 Ice maker stopped working and veggie drawer froze all the vegetables I first read some threads on the topic and figured out it was probably the ice maker. I found the part cheaper somewhere else but if it wasn't the problem I couldn't return it. I figured it was worth a little extra money to be able to return it if I was wrong and it was something else. I ordered the part watched the tutorial on YouTube , and replaced it. The only trouble I had was getting the wire harness to stay to the side to get the ice maker back in. I finally taped it down. I fixed it! I hate paying for service calls and outrageous service repairs. It is working beautifully. Thanks. Easy to do. My husband is super happy to say , his wife fixed it!
