Ann M Walled Lake , MI February 10, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Refrigerator MFI2569VEM2 Ice maker stopped working and veggie drawer froze all the vegetables I first read some threads on the topic and figured out it was probably the ice maker. I found the part cheaper somewhere else but if it wasn't the problem I couldn't return it. I figured it was worth a little extra money to be able to return it if I was wrong and it was something else. I ordered the part watched the tutorial on YouTube , and replaced it. The only trouble I had was getting the wire harness to stay to the side to get the ice maker back in. I finally taped it down. I fixed it! I hate paying for service calls and outrageous service repairs. It is working beautifully. Thanks. Easy to do. My husband is super happy to say , his wife fixed it! Joseph F Woodridge , IL October 01, 2018 Ice maker wasn't making ice anymore At first I removed the ice-maker to see if there was any physical damage such as cracks. I found nothing that an untrained eye could find. I Googled the problem and couldn't find anything definitive. I emailed the problem to an on-line appliance place I've done business with in the past and nobody got back to me. Then I found Appliance Parts Pros and explained the problem. I received advise from Elizabeth. That didn't work out and I emailed her back giving her more details. She gave me more valuable feedback. With that feedback I purchased the part from Appliance Parts Pros knowing full well that the part cost a bit more than their competitors. The part came in two days and I installed the part on 09/30/18 using their YouTube video and now my ice maker is working as it should. Their knowledge and their help has tremendous value.
