I replaced the keypad entry and it fixed the problem for 24 hours, but then it beeped and entered 0. But is much better than it was. I am an electronics tech and I know through the yrs 2000-2010 there were a rash of bad capacitors produced. I now believe a second board which has these capacitors is the source of the problem. I also believe the second board let voltage spikes through which slowly damaged the keypad board. My goal is to order the capacitors which cost less than a $1 each and replace them. I have had success doing this on other household electronics. I should also note that I purchased a door top hinge 'screw' because I broke it trying to remove it. There is a keeper that needs to be slid back instead of trying to unscrew the screw. Someone needs to make a youtube video on how to remove this door. All the screws are Torx.
