John R Arlington , TX April 04, 2017 Appliance: Model KITCHENAID KCMC155JBL-0 Kitchen aid (same as whirlpool) microwave oven turntable was making a clicking noise and turning intermittently It was a built in installed in my kitchen cabinetry. I removed the faceplate surrounding it by taking out 4 wood screws at the corners. Then, I lifted out the microwave with the help of my grandson. It was heavy. I removed 5 sheet metal screws that were holding on a sheet metal shield at the bottom. Then, I took off the cover over the turntable motor chamber, exposed the motor and removed it by taking our 2 sheet metal screws. My replacement motor from Appliance part Pros fit perfectly and worked perfectly. Reassembled everything in reverse order and the job was done.
