Whirlpool WPW10192843 Motor-Turn OEM Part

I followed the video instruction on how to dissemble the bottom of the micro-convection to be sure it would be something I thought I could do (I'm a 60+ female who has never done anything of this sort before) and decided it looked simple enough. I ordered the Motor Turn, and when it arrived-much sooner than expected by the way-I just unplugged the old one, plugged in the new, put the bottom back on and screwed it in-except the two screws on the very back which you'd have to be a contortionist to get to-about killed me getting them out(lumbar fusion), however, I felt it was secure, as it slips into the slot in back and has four screws across the front and one in the middle on each side. Viola! Turned it on, tested it, and it works!! Great sense of accomplishment!!

I replaced the platter motor and spindle with new replacements Ordered and shipped promptly by appliance parts and problem solved! No more burnt popcorn.... end of story! Thanks

It is a simple repair. Unplug the microwave, unscrew the bottom of the microwave, detach the light, disconnect the light, unscrew the old motor, replace with the new motor, and then put it all back together. Took 20 minutes or so.

Easy to do. Unplug microwave for safety. Remove 8 screws from the bottom of the microwave that hold the metal pan in. Unplug the light and turn motor. Remove one screw holding the motor in and twist out of holding bracket. Replace turn motor and screw, plug in light and motor. Helps to have someone hold metal pan up while you screw in the first couple of the 8 screws. Plug back in and she works like a dream. I am back to favorite son status for now.

It was a built in installed in my kitchen cabinetry. I removed the faceplate surrounding it by taking out 4 wood screws at the corners. Then, I lifted out the microwave with the help of my grandson. It was heavy. I removed 5 sheet metal screws that were holding on a sheet metal shield at the bottom. Then, I took off the cover over the turntable motor chamber, exposed the motor and removed it by taking our 2 sheet metal screws. My replacement motor from Appliance part Pros fit perfectly and worked perfectly. Reassembled everything in reverse order and the job was done.
