Matthew S Burton , OH April 12, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG ATLANTIS Knob stopped working on maytag atlantis because timer broke thus the dryer would not work Pulled Thrace plate off that housed the timer by removing four #15 torx head screws. I then removed the broken timer, detached the wiring harness and replaced with the new one I got from appliancepartspros.com. I then put the faceplate back on, replaced the screws, put the knob on and done. Extremely fast and easy and I had the correct part to me within two days of ordering. When calling for parts have both your serial# and model# ready as these were both needed to get the correct part. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
