Had to remove old diverter and replace with new one. The first part I put in got ruined due to not having it fully engaged with the spout on the wash pump. When tightening the clamp, the tube on the diverter was cut causing it to become unusable. The second attempt with another new diverter went much better. I assembled the diverter to the wash pump first, then installed them on the dishwasher as a unit. Tightened everything up, connect wires and plugs, turned on the power and started it up. Checked for leaks and didn't find any. Repair was a success!
