The Whirlpool hose is the designated successor to the original (28-year-old) Kenmore hose. It came with a rubbery nozzle for insertion into the washer end - nice, but it was much too small for the receiving port on the Kenmore. I cut off the nozzle and then the ribbed plastic hose end nestled right down into place. Applied some joint compound to the hose end before assembling. The clip that came with the Whirlpool hose was feeble, so I re-used the original, which was much tighter.
Hose took 12 days to arrive.
