Sara B Liberty Hill , TX August 21, 2015 Drain hose too short and home depot fix leaked Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. I ordered the parts that were specific to our washing machine, it took maybe 5 minutes to install, and everything fit perfectly. Now we're washing again and no leaks! David M Lexington , VA January 13, 2017 Leak in washer drain hose The Whirlpool hose is the designated successor to the original (28-year-old) Kenmore hose. It came with a rubbery nozzle for insertion into the washer end - nice, but it was much too small for the receiving port on the Kenmore. I cut off the nozzle and then the ribbed plastic hose end nestled right down into place. Applied some joint compound to the hose end before assembling. The clip that came with the Whirlpool hose was feeble, so I re-used the original, which was much tighter. Hose took 12 days to arrive. Duval J Winter Springs , FL May 18, 2019 Washing machine leaking. My machine was first leaking only on spin, but within a month it began leaking all of the water as it filled. I called and spoke with a rep who said I needed to take the machine apart and find the leak. I unplugged it and pulled it away from the wall, then poured in a pot of water. Before even taking it apart, I could see water coming out of the drain hose right near the back of the machine and could feel a small hole in the hose. I got the part and used the video on the website to fix it very easily. I had been putting off the repair and used the laundromat for two months, but in 15 minutes my problem was over!
