Whirlpool Sport Duet Front Load Washer Model # WFW8500SR00 Noted leak on the floor after wash cycle. Took front panel off, noted water below wash drum. Ran rinse cycle and observed leak in back right corner below drain hose during drain cycle. Very easy to order new drain hose using model number of washer. Selected economy shipping, still arrived in 3 days. While awaiting for part to arrive, watched repair video link online a couple of times. When drain hose arrived used screw gun with 1/4 inch nut driver attachment to remove back panel. Removed clamp on pump, fished out old drain hose noting half inch tear in plastic hose where drain hose leaves the washer (approximently 180 degree bend). Installed new drain hose in just a few minutes, no difficulty. Only issue was remounting rear panel took two people. Recommend getting all screws started before any tightening as there is no give or take, needs to be perfectly square. Very easy DIY project, estimated saving $150.00
